Chelsea FC issued major Eden Hazard transfer boost by Real Madrid because of Jose Mourinho #CFC

Chelsea FC issued major Eden Hazard transfer boost by Real Madrid because of Jose Mourinho #CFC That’s the belief of ESPN football expert Julien Laurens. Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish heavyweights since the World Cup last summer. The Belgian has openly flirted with a switch and has little over 12 months remaining on his current Chelsea contract. Chelsea are under fresh pressure over Hazard’s future because of that but also because they face a potential transfer ban. The Blues have appealed FIFA’s decision to ban them from signing players for two windows. The world governing body decided such punishment after an investigation into several deals the club had done to sign under-18 players from abroad. Of 92 cases investigated, around 29 breaches were found and that could mean Chelsea are barred from making any signings this summer. That would therefore increase their reluctance to lose Hazard, even though they would also be banned from signing players from the following January and so they could be forced to miss out on at least £100million by letting their talismanic forward leave for nothing in 2020. Yet Laurens has offered Chelsea hope of tempting the 28-year-old into remaining at Stamford Bridge with Real Madrid reportedly on the verge of bringing in Mourinho. Santiago Solari is set to lose his job at the Bernabeu with Real’s chances of winning major silverware having dissipated in less than a week with Copa del Rey semi-final and Champions League last 16 exits and a La Liga loss to Barcelona, which leaves Madrid 12 points off their Clasico rivals in the league with 12 games left of the campaign. Mourinho is the current favourite to take over in the Spanish capital for what would be a second stint in charge of Los Blancos. The Portuguese coach has also managed Chelsea twice and in his second spell in west London saw Hazard go 24 games without a goal before he was sacked in December 2015. Laurens told ESPN FC: “There’s a big overhaul of players in that [Real Madrid] squad to be done in the summer. Is Mourinho the right man for that? I’m not so sure. Does he even want to do that? I would be surprised. Usually he likes arriving with a certain standard of players in his squad and not having to rebuild everything like will be the case this summer for Madrid. Then if Real Madrid want to sign Eden Hazard, I’m not really sure Hazard would be delighted to go to Madrid and work with Mourinho again. Hazard claimed back in October to Belgian newspaper HLN that Mourinho is the “one coach” he would want to work with again and explained that his last six months under the boss was “partly” his own fault. He said: “After [winning] the title [the previous season], we asked Mourinho for extra holidays. I came back totally out of shape. "We didn't win, we got into a sort of routine - training, training without having fun. It was better for all parties that the collaboration came to an end." But since then, Mourinho has been sacked by United in December with the Red Devils 11 points off the top four and 19 points off top spot.
