In the music video Party In The Elevator, a group of kids escape from their house to have a party in an elevator. The Elevator goes to the 50th floor where there is another party going on, and the kids start bopping along to the rhythmic rapping music. In the end, the elevator flies out of the top of an apartment building into space. Here are seven things you might have missed in the video! There are adults in the beginning in the elevator with one or two kids. Eventually, the party will go on with no parents allowed. Sorry grandpas, the fun belongs to the youngsters!
Number 5 - Strobe Lighting for Party Effect
There is a lot of light changes throughout the video. The dominant colors are red, blue, and green, and they contribute making the top floor party looking LIT!
Number 4 - Snacks in the House
There is a big table of snacks, including bowls of Cheetos, pretzels, and more. There are big bottles of country-time lemonade and kool aide on the table. Everything's ready for the party of a lifetime!
Number 3 - Big Party Elevator Button
The button for the fiftieth floor in the elevator is colorful and party-like, clearly a reference of the fun to come! The boys are obviously super pumped!
Number 2 - Kids Wearing 80s Clothing
Most of the kids are wearing t-shirts and jeans or leather jackets, and some of them have sunglasses that glow in the dark. The Funnel Fam sure loves the 80s fashion!
Number 1 - Marshmello Reference
There is a DJ at the party on the top floor. He is spinning records and bopping to the music, but the most interesting part is that he is wearing a doll-like mask. This is clearly a reference to one of the most popular real life DJs currently active, Marshmello.
Overall, this song was a huge hit, one of the most beloved production by the Funnel Fam. And it's easy to understand why, the music video is plenty of fun with the scenes oscillating between the party on the top floor and the party in the elevator.
