Michael Avenatti speaks after released on $300,000 bond

Michael Avenatti was arrested on charges that include trying to extort Nike for as much as $25 million with a co-conspirator by threatening the company with bad publicity. Avenatti was also charged with embezzling a client’s money to pay his own expenses in a separate case in California. He was arrested in New York.
