New Zealanders, PM Ardern, Observe Muslim Call to Prayer

NEW ZEALAND MOSQUE ATTACK: In a day without precedent, people across New Zealand observed the Muslim call to prayer on Friday as the nation reflected on the moment a week prior when 50 people were killed at two mosques. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and thousands of others congregated in leafy Hagley Park opposite the Al Noor mosque in Christchurch to observe the call to prayer at 13:30, local time. Thousands more listened to it on the radio or watched on television as the event was broadcast live.
