Salalah named Capital of Arab Summer Resorts for 2019

The Arab Tourism Organization has named the city of Salalah in Oman as the capital of Arab Summer Resorts for the year 2019.



The organisation expects a positive tourism return of 30 per cent.



"The activities organised by the destination are considered as criteria in the selection process as well as the continuous development of the infrastructure and new investment projects that meet the requirements of Arab tourists in order to welcome them.” - Ministry of Tourism



The title of the capital of Arab summer resorts aims to highlight the winning city with its suitable climate and allows it to drive the modern tourism sector.
