I've discovered my favorite and honestly what I consider the best EDC backpack/bag in 2019 (but also just the best commuter bag too), the Chrome Industries MXD Fathom. It sports a really slim design you don't find in any other bag, sort of like wearing a vest, but it offers just enough pocket options and modularity for you to carry everything you need on a daily basis. When I fully load it, I utilize all the bags loops and rings to allow me to carry as much as possible without bulking out the bag.
