Webinar: 2020 Global Sulfur Limit - Should you be Concerned?

Webinar: 2020 Global Sulfur Limit - Should you be Concerned? On January 1, 2020, the International Maritime Organization will lower allowable sulfur limits for shipping vessels down to 0.5 percent.

Some are reporting this will have an enormous impact on the price of diesel and gasoline while others are saying an extreme oil price spike is unlikely. Regardless of the size of the impact, there will be some change and disruption in the refining industry affecting the fuels and vehicles markets.

S&P Global Platts associate editor, Beth Brown, presents her findings on -

- IMO related changes on the horizon
- Rate of scrubber installation
- New shipping fuel formulations
- Potential price impacts

This webinar was originally recorded as a Fuels Institute contributor-only presentation on December 18, 2018.
