For some NFL teams, simply not moving is the best move. For others, not moving can be the worst move. And in this year’s free agency period, we saw a handful of teams really botch the opportunities to make themselves better.

Top teams like the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears avoided drastic changes. They like their respective rosters and decided only minor tweaks were necessary.

But on the flip side, a handful of playoff and non-playoff teams really made mistakes by either signing the wrong guys or simply not cooperating in free agency as much as they should have. And of course, certain players cannot be happy campers after having to sign for far less money than initially expected.
