After FB removes 687 pages 'linked to Congress', party says it'll 'verify'

Following Facebook's announcement that it had taken down 687 pages and accounts 'linked to Congress', the party said that it will verify the reports. National Spokesperson of the Congress, Manish Tewari said that the party will check whether the accounts in question are actually connected to the Congress. Facebook has alleged that the pages and accounts were indulging in 'coordinated inauthentic behaviour' and that the people behind the 'activity' were 'connected to individuals associated with an Indian National Congress IT cell'.
