Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Results for the 2019 board examinations are expected to be released in the month of May. The evaluation work is presently going on in various examination centres across the country. The board had revealed its intent of releasing the CBSE Board Results earlier than their usual last week of May this year. To check the possibility of the same we reached out to the various evaluation centres in Delhi NCR. The primary status report suggests that the checking for CBSE Class 12 Board results is almost complete.
Speaking to Times Now, examiners shared that the evaluation work for CBSE Class 12 Economics examination as well as Physical Education paper has been completed. These were among the last bundles sent out for evaluation.
As for Class 10, examiners confirmed that the evaluation work for Class 10 English has been completed. Evaluation for Class 10 Social Studies is expected to be wrapped up by end of this week.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently concluded the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams 2019, and the result of the same is expected to be released in the month of May.
“CBSE has been extra strict and vigil this year. The number of evaluation centres was increased, mandatory attendance of teachers was implemented and better monitoring has helped,” shared a source who wished to remain anonymous.
According to reports, the evaluation work of the answer papers of CBS Class 10 is presently going on at various examination centres across the country.
As the Board is likely to release the results a bit early this year, TIMESNOWNEWS.COM reached out to the various evaluation centres in Delhi NCR and reportedly found that the evaluation is almost complete.
While many schools have raised concerns over the teachers going missing due to extended evaluation hours, they have agreed that the board did not take no for an answer this year. A head examiner shared that the school was sent constant reminders from the board.
It further reported, citing an examiner that checking of Economics and Physical Education papers has been completed while Social Studies paper of Class 10 will be completed by this week.

On the other hand, CBSE was reported to be using digital technology to create as much of a level playing field as possible for students who feel unduly penalised by a disproportionately difficult question paper or a stray ambiguous question.
This year, however, CBSE mandated teachers to devote 8 hours to evaluation work, increased the number of centres and the result is evident. Though the examiner could not confirm, she did share that the evaluation work is either already complete or would be done by April 20 or so. “With this speed, I would not be too surprised if CBSE releases Class 12 result by May 15,” said the examiner.
