DIY: How to sew slits in the garments. Edging the slits with the facing. This is Paukshte Fashion Workshop. I remind you that we post new videos every day.
Last time we showed you how to edge the slits with the facing details. Today we are going to show you how to edge the bottom in such details.
First it should be trimmed. Make sure that it's straight.
The width of the overcast will be 2cm.
Be very careful!
The angles should be perfect. If you don’t cut enough, you won’t be able to turn the detail right side out, and if you cut less than needed, you will make a hole.
If you are making a garment of the thin fabric, you can fold the bottom twice and then sew by hands instead of stitching it with an overlocker.
When making garment of the thin fabrics, you can also make the details smaller. As I’ve already said, the overcast can also be made differently.
Next we need to top stitch the facing. It should be done for it to be more beautiful.
It’s enough for Natalie to pin the facing for stitching. You can tack it if you want.
We showed you how to edge the slits with the facing.
We are Ira and Natalie.
