
These thoughts led me to reminisce about the days when producers did the same thing for where they call home. Obviously, the internet led most of us to a more homogeneous approach to music. I myself dabbled in other genres looking for new challenges. However I took all the tools I learned and brought them back home because as the saying goes, home is where the heart it.
I shared these thoughts recently on my twitter account and it was met with agreement and also a whole lot of backlash. Let me make it clear, this video is not about limiting your creativity, but a challenge to find ways to incorporate what you call home into your music.
