First Luxurious Red Carpet Train in Pakistan | Jinnah Express At Lahore

Jinnah Express is a VIP train with all business class coaches that was inaugurated on 30th March 2019 from Lahore. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan alongwith the railway minister Mr. Sheikh Rasheed. It runs between the major cities of Karachi and Lahore.

I was a little unwell during the inauguration day so could not catch the inaugural run. However here is the review of Jinnah Express which was shot on 2nd April 2019 at Lahore Junction

All coaches are CNR High Speed coaches which were earlier model of CNR coaches first introduced with Pak Business Express. Now these coaches are refurbished at Moghulpura carriage factory Lahore for this train.

Each coach has similar interior as other train business class but the facilities differ. Here the red carpet has been introduced which gives a really elegant look to the interior of train. And the best thing is the restaurant which is called Dining Car or Restaurant on Wheels. A very professional catering contractor is managing it with very well mannered waiters and finest crockery with beautiful decoration.

We should give it a try and make it as successful. The fare is very reasonable which is only 6500 Rupees. It is almost half of what one pays for air line journey between Karachi and Lahore.
