Rico Rodriguez - Order Of Distinction

The final studio album from the late Jamaican legend Rico Rodriguez. Rico was the first rastaman to leave Jamaica in 1961 after establishing himself in the music scene there. He went on to release many more works and enjoyed success with The Specials and then in the Jools Holland band, and also featured on the iconic album Heroes Of Kingston produced by JA13 who also produced Rico's Wareika Vibes album as well as this one.

Rico is credited as the reason The Beatles grew their hair long after they saw him at The Cavern in the late 50's!
