Turkey elections: Setback for Erdogan's AKP | DW News

It's a significant setback for Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. His AK party has lost control of the capital, Ankara in local elections and is also on the brink of defeat in Istanbul. The elections are seen as a referendum on his leadership. Many voters say they're unhappy with the way Erdogan is handling the country's economic downturn.
