This video describes the production of Jewelry Rings made from thin and ultra thin laminate wood strips. Each ring consists of 11 layers each layer containing 22 to 35 strips of wood. This results in more than 600 exposures of wood in each of the rings. The thin wood strips were sliced on the band saw, glued together to produce laminate boards. From these laminate boards, discs were cut and then resliced into thin laminate discs. The discs were glued together and then turned on the lathe to produce some unique wood dizzy pattern rings.
