Got Off WORK🏗️ Early, Let's GO🛥️Fishing 🎣🎏

Got off work early on a Friday and figured "Fuck It" let's hit the lake. It was in the upper 80's with hardly any wind. So that day and those conditions couldn't be waisted!!!!
We mainly went to catch some Crappie, but wouldn't you know it. That's about the only fish we didn't catch. That and a catfish. We did how ever run across a highly skilled Thief that robbed us for the good bit of several hours. He was so fast we never even saw him at work. Cast out a minnow, wait 45secs and reel it in. Gone, nothing but maybe a head. The damn bobber didn't even move most of the time. But on one reel in to check, he slipped up and revealed himself. It was 3 to 4ft spotted Gar( they are very common in the south).
I've been fishing for many years, and been to most every lake in 200miles, and it's only maybe the 4th I've ever seen in person in the wild. They are pros at staying out of site in these kinda murky waters.
He was the second biggest Gar I've ever seen. He swam right up to the boat chasing that reel in. So close I could have grabbed it right out of the water.
I could've thrown a second hook in the bait and probably caught his ass!!! But that's a fish I'd rather not fuck with. Look in there mouth if you wanna see why🦈😱😵😱🦈
Unfortunately the phone died and I missed the Fireworks that came right after☹️🎆💥🎆☹️ somebody had way too many 500grams laying around and decided to go ham on the lake. Non-stop 1 after another for almost 10mins!!! It's almost like they knew I was on the water 😂🎇😂🎆😂🎇😂.
