SEVEN TROUGHS AREA, NEVADA

My daughter and grandchildren came with me on a ride out in the desert to the Seven Troughs area in Northern Nevada. We couldn't get too far back into the mountains to an area that we wanted to go to because the roads were so washed-out and rutted that we couldn't get back there. Plus, it was hot and we didnt want to attempt a long walk with the children. I took my drone with me but it was so windy that I couldn't fly it. But we did see some cool stuff and some wildlife along the way so we still had a good time. I have already made plans with my son to go back and explore the mine and to walk into the area that I was originally intending to go. That will be happening very soon.
