Brewing Puer with a View in Mengsong, Yunnan We've outlined our ideal gongfu brewing instructions for raw puer, or any really. The first step is to find a gentle stream buried in a old growth tea garden in Yunnan. They say the water source closest to the tea trees produces the best results for a tea, so try not to skimp on this step.

If you do not live near a Yunnan tea garden, then any stream will do. If there are no nearby streams, then anywhere with a table will also do the trick.
