Car safari is available here almost everyday except the breeding months. It will charge approximately ₹2400-2500 for a car. Elephants and leopards are numerous in this reserve. It is around 99% sure that you will be able to see atleast an elephant here.

Jayanti :
Jayanti is an amazing place among the mountains of Bhutan, Jayanti river and dense forest of Buxa. Its riverbed is excellent.
Buxa Fort :
The Buxa Fort was erected by Bhutan for the protection of the great Silk Route. The British captured it and made it a prison. Once upon a time Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a captive of this fort.

Railway :
The nearest railway station is Alipurduar Junction or New Alipurduar. Trains are very frequent to Alipurduar from NJP or Siliguri Junction. Rajabhatkhawa is the gateway to the Buxa Tiger Reserve. You may get trains from Alipurduar to Rajabhatkhawa. It's just a journey of 15 minutes.
Roadway :
If you are going to choose roadway then you have to come Alipurduar by bus. A large number of government and public buses are available from Siliguri. From Alipurduar a number of Magic vans, Safari vans, Totos and Tempos are available for the Buxa Tiger Reserve. Generally it charges around ₹15-25 from Alipurduar to Rajabhatkhawa.
