The case challenging the legality in the change of the country’s currency and phasing out of the 1000 notes has been referred to Chief Justice David Maraga-the high court has asked the chief justice to form a three judge bench to hear the matter citing weighty issues of law in the case seeking to stop issuance of the new currency.
