Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is giving chance for engineering graduates to attain a PG course from renowned IIT – Madras in “Metro Rail Technology and Management” and thereafter will appoint these candidates in Chennai Metro rail project. These vacancies are open for Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical engineers who have got at least 70% marks in their engineering degree. Final year students can also apply. CMRL will be offering Rs.20000 as monthly stipend and also the necessary sponsorship and tuition fees to IIT Madras. After the completion of course and post the appointment as Assistant Managers in CMRL, candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 40000. Candidates also have to sign a bond of Rs. 6 Lakhs in order to serve CMRL for 6 years including 1 year PG Diploma Course. Application fee is Rs.500 for general category candidates and Rs 100 for SC/ST category candidates.
