Lower back pain and middle back pain are extremely common. There are many theories why, but we believe it's because we tend to spend a lot of time sitting, in positions that are conducive of muscle weakness and poor hip and spine alignment.
As a result, we are getting weaker in areas that need strength, and tight in areas that need to be flexible. The degree or issue usually aligns with the length of time the issue has been neglected.
There are a few easy mobility and strength drills that we can do to help remedy back pain. Today we will take you out onto the gym floor to demonstrate a great daily routine you can do to alleviate pain.
This method was originally taught to us by our go-to chiropractor Tom Cartwright. He learned this method from renowned physiotherapist Sarah Key. Since, we have adopted it as a staple routine used for anyone who regularly suffers lower back pain.
