Hanshi Frank Dux studied Koga Yamabushi Ninjitsu, also written as 'Ninjutsu' under Shidoshi Senzo Tanaka from the Tanaka ryu line of Ninjitsu. Shidoshi Frank W. Dux is a representative of the Tanaka clan and follows the path of the Ninja.

Some see Frank Dux as the founding father of mixed martial arts and the UFC, others dispute that! Shidoshi Dux was the inspiration to the movie Bloodsport 1988 with Jean Claude van Damme. Shidoshi Frank Dux also founded Dux Ryu Ninjitsu and FASST Dux Ryu.
