2019 Quarter-Mile Championship
Event Details: The 2019 Quarter-Mile Championship will begin on August 25th. Videos of the event will be uploaded daily to our YouTube channel (diecastracerx) and to our website until the race is completed. Entries must be in before August 25th.
Event Start Date: August 25th
How it Works: Send your car to DCR, along with your “Track Pass,” before the start date, and it will be entered into the event. You can enter more than one car but you must have a separate track pass for each one.
Tournament Format:
- In Round 1 your car will be given two runs, one in each lane, and it will get to keep its best single time
- At the end of Round 1 your best time will be compared to all the other cars’ times from Round 1, and the top half will advance.
- This process will continue until there are only two cars left for a head-to-head championship on the August 25th.
Class Rules:
- This event is limited to: stock, Production class models only from all nations.
- NOT ALLOWED: VANS, SUVS, BUSES, SEMI-TRUCKS, RECREATIONAL VEHICLES, FUNNY CARS, RACE CARS, LIMOUSINES, SERVICE VEHICLES, CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES or SHOW CARS / CONCEPTS
- Allowed: cars, pickup trucks, and wagons, (all makes, all years)
- The model must be 1:64th scale or something comparable (avoid Jada Toys, M2 Machines, and Greenlight unless you check with us first)
- The car must be gravity powered only
- There are NO modifications allowed, but we do allow dry powder lubricants (graphite), but no liquid lubricants.
Shipping:
- We will ship your car back to you as soon as we can after the event, unless you specify otherwise with a request and want us to keep your car for future racing. This can save on shipping cost.
Disclaimer:
- Must be 18 or older, or have permission from Parent/Guardian to enter.
- Once you ship us your car, it will the property of DCR LLC from that point on until we ship it back to you.
- All images and video of the car will also be property of DCR LLC
- DCR LLC will not be held responsible for any damage done to your car during shipping/handling or during a gravity race

- Send us an email with a picture of your car so we can “okay” it before you ship it
