Rule of law: let's activate European citizens Strengthening the Rule of Law in the European Union is an urgent priority for all European citizens to work on, as this is the fundamental principle our democracy is built upon and it is currently under threat. On the 17th of July the European Commission unveiled new instruments for the protection of the Rule of Law in the European Union. Are they enough?
