Ever since we were introduced to the Skrulls in Captain Marvel, it’s safe to say we’ve been a little paranoid about our surroundings because you never know who could be a Skrull. It could be literally anyone, but, thankfully, Skrulls don’t exist in real life. They’re completely fictional and only exist in the MCU. That being said, no one in the MCU is safe from our paranoia, including Tony Stark, who may have given away the fact that he was a Skrull in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
If you saw Far From Home, then you know that Tony Stark wasn’t completely gone from Peter Parker’s life. In fact, everywhere Peter looked, he saw Iron Man’s face looking right back at him. He just couldn’t get away from him and, when Happy Hogan gave him one last gift from Tony Stark, E.D.I.T.H., it was clear that Peter wasn’t going to be able to run away from Tony Stark anymore. One thing that was interesting is that the glasses never indicated to Peter that Nick Fury and Maria Hill were actually Skrulls. Sure, we know the shapeshifting powers of the Skrulls are pretty incredible, but are they good enough to fool Stark tech? We doubt it, which means Tony Stark might’ve been one himself.
