Cultural Practices Part 3: Watering The Lawn Correctly

Cultural Practices Part 3: Watering The Lawn Correctly Hi Everyone! I am back in the country and finally able to complete the cultural practices series with a lesson on proper watering! Your lawn get's thirst in the summer and often we think we are doing the right thing with the "set it and forget it" mentality of irrigating, but there is so much more. Watering the lawn with a sprinkler system, a hose by hand, or a manual sprinkler can all work if you follow along with a few simple steps. The Moisture meter is a very handy tool to keep around and will give you an easy visual aid on when to water and if it's getting deep enough into the soil. Drought stress is no laughing matter and it's easy to avoid.

I will be getting through the emails sent to me over the vacation so please be patient!
