For years he has longed to dive again with us deep below the waves. Physically It is too dangerous for Guy to SCUBA dive because the chances of his diving injury reoccurring are so high.
But now he has found a way, with the FiFISH V6 he has regained his underwater mobility and can now dive deeper and for longer than the rest of us aboard BAREFOOT.

This is just one episode of the Barefoot Captain and his crew’s many adventures. This is just the start of many short films I will post documenting our expeditions aboard my 40 foot sailing catamaran “Barefoot” to remote parts of the Coral Sea and beyond.
This is our most epic expedition yet, we will be sailing over 8000nm to the most remote reefs in this part of the Pacific ocean and beyond to Vanuatu and New Caledonia. We encounter Sharks, Whales and plenty of Sea Snakes, explore deserted coral islands teeming with birds and find centuary's old shipwrecks. Dive for our dinner and endure breakdowns and engine failures. All part of the fun that is living lives of no fixed address.
A little background – My name is Dean Cropp, I have “hacked life”, sold the house and quit my day job to follow the legendary course of my ocean adventurer father Ben Cropp. Continuing my fathers legacy to re-visit the shipwrecks and wild places he found 50 years ago.
This motley crew of 6 love to sail, film and explore. We have started right here in Australia’s Coral Sea. We look for the wildest, most remote and unknown locations to explore, you wont find many of these places in any tourist guide or even most sailing books.
I have been a cameraman and Director of Photography for almost 20 years and I specialise in underwater Cinematography. Most of my crew are also photographers, divers and camera nerds too. So this is us on our time off, doing what we love, filming our adventures all in 4K and all for you!!! I hope you enjoy it!
