When people say they have a style of their own they was talking about Kevin Cloud and The Delegation. Kevin became a professional gospel singer at the age of 11 singing with his father Lee Cloud and The Northernaires which already had a major record deal with Jewel Records which was home to so many greats in gospel industry. Also was asked by the Legendary Julius Cheeks ( The Sensational Nightingales , Soul Stirrers, etc) to join his group of course he did. He notice the way Kevin would sing and play a song and the heart felt way he could make it feel was like no one else could. So after being in this field so long and singing with and joining some of best artist and gospel groups(Slim And The Supreme Angels, Bob Washington And The Gospelaires, The Gospel Keynotes,The Mighty Sons Of Glory, Darrell McFadden And The Disciples, Tommy Ellison And The Five Singing Stars, The Angelics and many more ) in the business, Kevin was influenced by so many and developed a style of gospel music his own. Kevin also asked some of best musicians and singers he has met through his travels to join his group. One in particular was Lokey Bibbs a great female singer he met in Chicago IL. that became his wife so now Lokey Cloud one of the best singers and over all deliverers of a song he's ever heard. I'm sure you'll agree when you hear her on songs like "Control" ," He's Sweet I Know" and " I Need A Touch ". Others members consist of Tyrone Cloud, Chris Gray, Maurice Gariin ,Grier "Pee Wee" Avery, and Rod McCoy.
All these musicians are some the best in gospel music and all members of churches and devoted Christians and they mean what they do.
