This is a project based off a sobakiri, meant for noodles. But it's not for noodles, it's for... ice. I dub it, the soBADkiri. It's actually an incredibly interesting and fun project to do. I've never done anything like it to be honest.
It's much more tricky than I expected it to be. What seems straight forward is just full of strange annoyances that I have to think through and adjust. The most difficult part of it is the testing and evaluating. How the heck do I know how a good ice chopper actually works?
Well, I just chop a bunch of ice.
I literally have no idea what I'm doing and that's the best part. As I'm testing this knife out I'm learning about a bunch of things (namely, how ice works, how to design a project per the requirements, how to evaluate priorities in a design, and how to revise the attributes to better suit the needs).
The next parts I'll show some actual ice destruction and a lot more tweaking in the geometry. It's... ridiculous.
