Al Taza Restaurant is a comparatively new initiative that serves varieties of shawarma. Located near to Kaloor Stadium in Kochi, the restaurant opens from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. When a friend of mine suggested this place, the first thing I did was going through Google reviews about the restaurant. The restaurant currently has a google rating of 4.3 and mostly positive reviews. There were a few reviews complaining about the waiting time as the place is usually crowded after 6:30 pm. When I checked the review for a second time, I noticed one mention about food poisoning.
In the restaurant, we tried Chicken Plate Shawarma and Al Taza Special Chicken Shawarma. Both were good, less on spice, but served with pickled vegetables.
