'We Have A Real Problem': White 'Domestic Terrorism Is The Number One Danger' In America

Roland Martin spoke with Congressman Bennie Thompson during Monday's edition of the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the horrific mass shootings that claimed the lives of nearly 30 people in El Paso, TX and Dayton, OH.

Rep. Thompson quoted a recent FBI report that states domestic terrorism is the number one danger to the United States of America.

Thompson, chair of the Committee on Homeland Security said, "For a long time in this country we were led to believe that the most dangerous element in terms of terrorist was Muslim terrorist,' but as we can see from recent events this is not the case.

When asked why this form of terror is not being called white domestic terror, the congressman from Mississippi said, "We have someone in the White House who's absolutely in denial -- he says that he's a nationalist."

Thompson added, "We have a real problem."
