Bear Pro vs Purple | Foam & Hybrid Mattress Reviews (2019). In this video, Jeff compares Purple vs Bear Pro, which is the newest bed from the popular bed in a box brand Bear.

Bear Pro: This is a premium foam mattress that uses memory foam and copper infused foam. The bed also has a special Celliant cover that is supposed to help with recovery. Overall, the bed is 12" thick and incorporates four different layers of foam. We give the mattress a medium to medium firm rating and think it has a comfortable neutral foam feel. Price wise, the Bear Pro is cheaper than the New Purple mattresses 2,3 and 4.

Purple: The company offers four different mattresses - the Original Purple, New Purple 2, New Purple 3 and New Purple 4. All of the beds use the company's patented polymer top layer, which give the mattresses a gel-like feel. Overall, Purple beds are good for all types of sleepers (side, back and stomach). The New Purple mattresses incorporate coils, which mean they are best options for heavy people. The Original Purple mattress is the most affordable option out of the four in this mattress review comparison.
