I always get the question about what things are like in Jamaica, the cost of living and how much I spend on items. I think when you go shopping on a minimum wage budget it gives a fair idea on what the economic climate is like here in Jamaica. It's struggle to buy many of the items a household would need and I guess that's clearly why many cant even afford to shop at a supermarket. Luckily some are fortunate enough to have family members that send money via Western Union to help them acquire needed supplies.
