Our galaxy is 100k light years across. It has big black hole at the center which is called Sagittarius A*. When astronomers were studying it they've found bubble structures located very close the Sagittarius A*.
These bubbles are so big that they stretch for 1,400 light-years. According to some scientists a few million years ago large stars fell into Sagittarius A* which triggered large scale outburst and resulted into these bubbles.
