This multi-talented musician also played tenor saxophone, violin and clarinet and was a competent arranger and composer.
Over the years he worked in Syd Wyner's Band and with Freddie Aspinall, Sam Browne, Elise Carlisle, Freddie Ballerini's Band, Syd Harris and ultimately formed his own band ''Ronnie Aldrich and the Squadronaires'' which had mutated from the RAF Dance Orchestra.
He also recorded as Ronnie Aldrich and his two Pianos and became known as England's answer to Ferrante and Teicher.
As a composer I don't know if he contributed greatly to the mood music library scene but I found this one in the KPM library.
The title is 'Strictly For Pleasure', played by the Group 50 Orchestra (KPM 216)
It was issued in 1966.
