Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots absolutely LOVE turning other teams’ trash into their own treasure. Think about all the ageing stars that Belichick took a chance on when nobody else would.
Randy Moss certainly comes to mind. Corey Dillon did just fine there. LeGarrette Blount’s return to the Patriots in 2014 only led New England to a pair of Super Bowls. And hey, they even took a chance on Antonio Brown only hours after the Oakland Raiders released him... Although that experiment didn’t last very long.
And so, the question isn’t whether Bill Belichick WILL add another veteran superstar soon, but rather, WHEN?
