A Deserving Veteran Receives A Car

A Deserving Veteran Receives A Car In October, Matt, an Army veteran in our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program at TLC/Veterans' Victory House, got an email from his case manager that said, "There is a program through Faulkner Collision Center of Lancaster where they completely redo a damaged car to make it new again and gift it to a deserving veteran. The veteran is you…that’s right, you are getting a car!" Matt was speechless and in shock! "I can't believe this is happening to me...I believe if you work hard, good things happen!" Prior to receiving a car, Matt had to rely on public transportation, rideshares, and friends to get to and from work. Transportation was a huge hurdle to maintaining employment and receiving this car will allow him to do so.

Faulkner Collision Center of Lancaster in partnership with the National Auto Body Council's Recycled Rides® program and State Farm gifted a 2017 Chevy Cruze to Matt.

April Laush and her team at Faulkner Collision worked very hard on fixing the damaged car. After recieving donated parts and putting about $8,000 of labor into the car, it was as good as new! Thank you to the team at Faulkner Collision for all your hours of work and dedication to this car!
