A section of residents from Gachii Village Kiambaa Sub County in Kiambu County have now threatened to petition the president to have Kiambu county dissolved should the MCAs fail to heed their plea. The residents say they want a memorandum they forwarded to the assembly discussed by the whole assembly, instead of a 5 member committee appointed by the speaker. The residents say they collected 210,000 signatures to push for vote of no confidence and resignation of the Governor Ferdinand Waititu. The residents took to the streets to air their grievances.
