Baby flying-fox in temporary care: this is mum Sarah's Little Princess

Baby flying-fox in temporary care: this is mum Sarah's Little Princess Yesterday I rescued a mother with a baby. Mum Sarah had hit her head, been attacked by birds, and was under a car. She then tried to climb a tree and kept falling and climbing and falling.
The local construction workers shooed away the birds and bundled Sarah and her baby up in a thick tradies jumper and managed to get her into a box.
Sarah's baby, the Little Princess is fine, but mum Sarah isn't doing well and is quite concussed. She's also got ulcers in her eyes from not blinking well (head injuries often lose their blink reflex temporarily) and from having construction dust in her eyes. She also has minimal milk at present.
Sarah is unable to care for her little one, so she's been removed for temporary care till mum is well enough to look after her again.
Mum will be having eye ointment into her sore eyes for a week or so till they heal.

There was a bit of a commotion separating Sarah and her little Princess, but once the adrenaline wore off, Sarah made only a token protest at her baby being removed; the Little Princess was a little unhappy until I fed her, then she guzzled the entire dilute bottle of milk and some water.
After the feed, you can see her totally relaxed and in a milk coma. She relaxed and has given me her trust.
The next morning she was found with her dummy crossways in her mouth. I love a baby with an individual technique.
