BAZ board challenged to ensure universal access to broadcasting services

The recently elected Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) board whose mandate is to regulate Zimbabwe’s broadcasting sector has been challenged to ensure that there is universal access to broadcasting services in the country.

Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa said the newly elected 12-member Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) board is expected to play a key role towards the further opening up of the electronic media space.
