Now that you have more muscle memory and finer motor skills for better control we will now put the quad in the air and work on hovering using throttle control practiced in exercise as well as pitch and roll from exercise one all at the same time to keep the quad as close to one place as possible.
Once you have completed these three exercises and worked on them until you got proficient you will easily be able to get any non fixed wing mutli rotor craft into a stable hover without the use of assisted modes like auto level or gps controlled position hold.
