John Bercow: A symbol of UK parliamentary democracy bows out

The vocal and colourful speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, John Bercow, will step down at close of chambers on Thursday.
Bercow served 10 years in the role, most notably trying to keep Brexit proceedings under control. And, his legacy will be both loud and contentious.
