Kids BJJ Yellow | Black Belt Self Defense - T Position Basics

Kids BJJ Yellow | Black Belt Self Defense - T Position Basics Absolute's Children's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, for children aged 5 to 15-years old, helps build life skills for your child through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).

A grappling-centric art, the goal of BJJ is to take your opponent to the ground, control them positionally, and finish with a submission. With an emphasis on technique and leverage, BJJ is designed to allow a smaller person defeat a stronger foe with ease. Absolute's Kid's BJJ classes feature an appropriate level of contact for your child's physical development and maturity so you can rest assured that they will learn safely.

Your child will develop discipline, respect, honour, leadership and self-confidence, and much more.

Our program ensures that your child is bully-proof and ready to face life’s challenges.

In this video coach Mikael demonstrates the basics behind the T-Position. You should have one under hook (waist grip) with your other hand grabbing the tricep. For a self defence scenario, level change in to avoid the punches, make sure your feet are at a 90 degree angle. Punch the under hook high, the shuck around and take the back.
