Pompeo Tries to Fish Political Capital by Repeatedly Smearing China

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is trying to fish political capital by repeatedly smearing China, said a spokesman of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

The spokesman, Geng Shuang, made the remarks at a regular press conference when asked to comment on Pompeo's Thursday malicious remarks that the Communist Party of China (CPC) brought challenges to German telecommunication network and made its construction very complicated and his earlier remarks of inciting other countries to avoid risks brought by CPC.
