He will have a similar problem with nine players apparently out of the game - Martial, Mata, Herrera, Matic, Lingard, Darmian, Alexis, Jones and club captain Valencia. But Man Utd turned the game around in Paris playing a 4-4-2 - De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Dalot, McTominay, Fred, Pereira; Lukaku, Rashford. It’s expected that Solskjaer will return Pogba to the starting XI for their trip to the Emirates.
Arsenal have hit a patch of form in February, but a draw with Spurs in the North London Derby and a surprise 3-1 defeat to Rennes in the Europa League could derail Unai Emery’s first season as Arsenal manager. Emery is expected to field a similar XI to the side that faced Tottenham - Leno; Mustafi, Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Guendouzi, Xhaka; Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Iwobi; Lacazette in a 4-2-3-1.
Man Utd beat the gunners 3-1 in the recent FA Cup tie at the Emirates with Alexis Sanchez, Lingard and Martial getting on the scoresheet for the Red Devils. Solskjaer played a diamond in midfield that day. But expected a different shape for the game at the Emirates.
