Mrs. Estrella (Heidi Arima) gets poisoned right after Jessie (Ryza Cenon) assured her safety against Tiago (Tirso Cruz III). Realizing the importance of Mrs. Estrella’s evidence, the military sets up a trap at the hospital where she is being treated. Rhian (Angel Locsin) and Franco (Paulo Avelino) eventually encounter them as they try to get to Mrs. Estrella. Later, Tiago orders his men to rush to Gov. Estrella's (Francis Mata) office and find his USB. Meanwhile, Armando (Art Acuña) encourages Franco to make Rhian fall for him to take over her position in Tiago's syndicate.
With the military hot on their heels, Rhian (Angel Locsin) devises a plan for her and Franco (Paulo Avelino) to escape the authorities' eyes. Despite the pair's failure on the mission, Tiago (Tirso Cruz III) manages to get a hold of Gov. Estrella's (Francis Mata) flash drive, and vows to stop at nothing to defeat his enemies. Amelia (Janice de Belen), on the other hand, gets more suspicious of Rhian's actions. Meanwhile, Marcial (Albert Martinez) orders Ethan (JC De Vera) and Jessie (Ryza Cenon) to find the mysterious man linked to Tiago's illegal operations. Later on, Jessie becomes curious of the identity of Marcial's informant.
Corazon (Eula Valdes) pays a visit to the Guerrero residence in hopes of finding more information about Arabella (Angel Locsin). Upon learning of Amelia's (Janice de Belen) frequent outings, the grieving mother grows even more suspicious and decides to tail the former as she catches her leave the mansion. Meanwhile, Rhian apologizes to Tiago (Tirso Cruz III) for failing her mission. The syndicate's head then promises to introduce her to the secret alliance once she proves her loyalty. However, his trust on Rhian later wavers when he finds out about her betrayal.
