Mandela University renames student residences

Nelson Mandela University launched its institutional Naming and Renaming Project on 27 May 2019, with the initial phase being the launch of eight renamed residences. The Naming and Renaming Project flows from the launch of the University’s new name and identity in 2017, which presented an ideal opportunity for revisiting the names of physical infrastructure – existing buildings, streets, campuses and other named features and institutional components – which are all important part of the University.
