1094: NOAA released satellite image of Hurricane Dorian lightning: a simulation

Satellite images supposedly showing lightning inside the Hurricane Dorian cloud formation are clearly simulations, as the lightning can be seen to have been superimposed on an image of the cloud formation, which also has to be the product of a computer simulation.
